An Upstate man facing charges after his son died following an accidental shooting, over the summer. As we previously reported, Police in Union responded to a home on Hill Street in June.

Upon arrival, officers found a toddler boy suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to Union Hospital where he later died. SLED was called into investigate and the boy's father 51 year old, Kevin Miller was arrested for unlawful conduct towards a child.

Investigators say Miller left a loaded handgun in a drawer which allowed the toddler to access the gun leading to his death.
