Upstate man dies nearly a month after crashing into bridge

An Upstate man is dead after crashing into a bridge, last month. As we previously reported, the crash happened February 6th in Laurens County.

Officials say the driver of a dump truck ran off the road and struck the bridge on Highway 25 and Highway 252. The driver was taken to Greenville Memorial where he died from his injuries, Tuesday.

The Laurens County Coroner's Office has identified the deceased as 55 year old, Shane Vickous of Easley. The crash remains under investigation.
