An Upstate man will spend over a decade in prison on federal drug charges. The U.S. Attorney's Office says 31 year old, Dezmond Tucker of Union was sentenced last week for fentanyl distribution.
Court records show that Tucker sold fentanyl to an undercover officer. Federal prosecutors also say Tucker was connected to the overdose death of a Spartanburg woman in 2022.
He's been sentenced to nearly 11 years in prison. There's no parole or early release in the federal system.
