Administrator at Upstate high school charged with hit and run & DUI

An Upstate assistant principal is on administrative leave after charges of DUI and hit and run.

A spokesperson for Greenville County Schools confirmed that Berea High School Assistant Principal Eduardo Roman has been placed on leave after the district learned his arrest.

Roman was charged with DUI and Hit and Run with Injury after a weekend collision. Officials say the crash happened on East Butler Rd at Hyde Circle in Mauldin, just before 10PM last Friday.

Roman was booked in the Greenville County Detention Center and has since been released on bond.
