An employee at an Upstate school has been suspended after being charged with a sex crime against a child. Kristy Gwinn, an Instructional Coach at Westcliffe Elementary School in Greenville has been charged with sexual misconduct with a minor.
The principal at Westcliffe sent a message to parents Saturday notifying them that Gwinn has been placed on administrative leave since being charged.
The message emphasized that the charge was unrelated to Westcliffe and did not involve any of the students there. No Further details on Gwinn's arrest have been released.
