Detectives with the Anderson County Sheriff's Office responded to an upstate hospital after a teenager is suspected of sexually abusing a toddler in Anderson County.
The two year old victim was taken to a Greenville ER for evaluation Thursday evening. Detectives interviewed close family, as well as the suspect, and determined the abuse took place over the course of at least two months at a home on Martin Road in Starr.
18-year-old Donovan Stamps is charged with four counts of Criminal Sexual Conduct with a Minor. That investigation continues and there could be more charges.
A judge has denied Stamps’ bond, and he remains at the Anderson County Detention Center.
