The South Carolina Highway Patrol says that a driver has died days after a weekend collision. The crash occurred Sunday on Roper Mountain Road. The driver was taken to a hospital, where they died Tuesday from injuries suffered in the wreck.
The accident report says the driver lost control after crossing the center line and overcorrecting. The car went off the road and struck a utility pole.
The SC Highway Patrol, says the driver was not wearing a seatbelt. The identity of the driver had not been released as of the time of this report.
