A woman is dead after an Upstate house fire from over the holiday weekend. The Spartanburg County Coroner's Office responded to the scene of a house fire on Country Estates Road, early Sunday morning.
The Coroner's Office says a woman identified as 61 year old, Laura Pillion was pronounced dead just before 5AM. The cause of the fire has not been determined, as of this time.
The deadly remains blaze under investigation by the Coroner's Office, the Spartanburg County Sheriff's Office and the State Fire Marshals Office.
