A Western North Carolina man is facing charges after a hit and run there, earlier this week. The Asheville Police Department responded to the downtown area around 7:30PM, Monday.
Officers located a truck that had hit a parked vehicle on Walnut Street. The driver 43 year old, Nicholas Dean Jones tried to drive away but was taken into custody.
Jones is charged with reckless endangerment, DWI and various other driving violations.
