Sadly another dog attack has been reported in Anderson County. The two dog vicious assault happened Saturday night on LaFrance Road, which sent one woman to the hospital.
The Anderson County Sheriff's Office said after deputies arrived, three loose dogs were found on the property, two of which aggressively charged at Deputies.
One dog was put down, another is boarded at a local animal hospital. The Sheriff's Office said the woman suffered lacerations to her face and body and told Deputies the attack by the dogs was unprovoked. The case remains under investigation.
In February of 2020 the owner of four boxers was attacked in his own backyard in Anderson. The most grueling attack in recent years happened in March of 2022 when Kyleen Waltman was attacked by three dogs in Honea Path, which resulted in the amputation of both her arms.
In February of this year 11 A'Rhyan Anderson was attacked by a pack of dogs in Clinton while walking to the school bus.
