An Upstate woman is dead after a weekend stabbing in Pickens County. Deputies from the Pickens County Sheriff's Office responded to a home on Oakwood Street in Easley, Saturday morning.
Deputies found a woman dead on arrival from a stab wound. The suspect 35 year old, Brandon Wayne Hopkins was then taken into custody. He's charged with murder and a weapons violation.
The victim has been identified as 41 year old, Crystal Lynn Pace of Easley. Hopkins is being held without bond in Pickens County. There's been no details released on what led to the stabbing.
