The South Carolina GOP Primary Election results are in.
The Associated Press quickly called to South Carolina primary in favor of former President Donald Trump just minutes after 7pm Saturday night.
The former President gained roughly 59.5% of the vote compared to former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley, who gained roughly 39.6% of the vote.
The Greenville Republican Party held a watch party for the night of the Primary, where Chairwoman Yvonne Julian and 4th Vice Chair Griffin Callahan both said their organization is happy to see the former President claim victory in the state.
They also explained that their work isn't done and that they plan to continue supporting Trump in the state and that further efforts are required amidst upcoming local and state elections later this year as well.
