A 15-foot python was captured outside of a Garland home after what Garland Animal Control called "multiple strike attempts."
According to WFAA, Garland Animal Control was notified of the presence of the animal following multiple reports that the python that was "circling a neighborhood yard" and even trapped a man on top of his truck.
Thankfully, the python was captured and impounded without incident.
A post on social media by the department read, "Bravery, compassion, and public safety — that's what our Animal Control Officers bring every day.
"No matter the call, we show up. Because our duty never ends."
