Mötley Crüe is one of the most recognizable bands in the world with over 40 years of experience. However, apparently no one at Amazon knows what they look like. A fan recently caught a mistake Amazon made, using an image of the comedy-rock band Steel Panther for a Mötley Crüe documentary.

Amazon may be one of the biggest companies in the world, but that doesn’t mean they are mistake free. As one fan recently noticed, Amazon Prime currently has an image of Steel Panther as the artwork for the 2020 documentary ‘Rock ‘n Roll Icon: Mötley Crüe’ on their streaming site. As seen in the clip that has since gone viral, the Mötley Crüe logo is displayed over a press shot of the wrong band.

“Who’s gonna tell them?” a woman can be heard saying in the video while laughing about the mistake. According to NME, the video has since been shared by Steel Panther frontman Michael Starr. Hopefully Amazon fixes the problem before Mötley Crüe finds out.
