It’s about this time during the football season where Cowboys fans are the most optimistic.
Especially in an offseason where we haven’t had any major player-owner disputes; nobody has been seen laying on the trainer’s table during preseason games.
But still, if Cowboys fans have been conditioned to be anything over the years, it’s to grow more pessimistic as the season unfolds, which is why it makes perfect sense that a new study from ActionNetwork.com ranked Cowboys fans as the fifth most negative fanbase in all of the NFL.
The Indianapolis Colts were found to have the most negative fanbase in the NFL.
The study also found the Cowboys to have the ninth-most foul-mouthed fanbase in the NFL. That top honor went to the New York Giants.
On the flipside, fans of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers were named the most positive fanbase in the NFL, while the most-polite were fans of the Buffalo Bills.
