When it comes to Disney, their fans take brand obsession to a new level. For some it means annual trips to Disney World or Disney Land, for others its seeing every Disney movie or show that is produced. Luckily for these devoted fans, the Arlington Museum of Art has launched a new exhibit they won’t want to miss.
Running now through September 4, the Arlington Museum of Art’s newest exhibit features animation sketches and cels, storyboards, character studies, and concept drawings from some of Disney’s most iconic movies. According to Dallas Culture Map, the exhibit includes over 250 original items.

The entire collection comes from Disney legend Andreas Deja, who oversaw the creative development of characters such as Gaston in ‘Beauty and the Beast,’ Jafar in ‘Aladdin,’ and Scar in ‘The Lion King.’ “When the Arlington Museum of Art asked me if I was interested in an exhibition that would feature my work from the Disney Studios, as well as some personal art, I felt flattered and excited,” said Deja. Soon, Disney fans from all over will be coming to Arlington to get a glimpse.
