The 2023 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival is officially in the books, as the second weekend wrapped up on Sunday. As always, the music festival provided plenty of viral moments and surprise performances. However, it was a cover performed by Becky G on Friday that had many in Texas wishing they made the trip to Coachella this year. That’s because the singer honored Texas legend Selena by covering four of her songs.
Becky G took the stage on Friday during Coachella’s second weekend and stunned the crowd with a special medley of Selena songs. According to My San Antonio, the singer covered ‘Como la Flor,’ ‘La Carcacha,’ ‘Bidi Bidi Bom Bom’ and ‘Baila esta Cumbia.’ The crowd clearly enjoyed the Selena covers, jamming out as Becky G sang and danced on stage.
She even let the crowd get involved, often turning over the microphone and letting the audience sing the words. During the performance, Becky G was dressed in all pink, including a pink cowboy hat. For Selena fans, this was definitely the highlight of the weekend.
