Last season, NFL players accumulated $4,945,212 in on-field fines across 404 total infractions. The league has the Dallas Cowboys to thank for a lot of that.
A new study found the Cowboys to be the second worst-behaved team in the NFL, accumulating $298,384 in fines across 25 fines, with the most-fined player being Wide Receiver George Pickens, responsible for $95,642 in fines alone.
Pickens was fined six times by the NFL last season, the most of any player in the entire league.
The only team that drew more fines was their NFC East rival the Washington Commanders, who were charged $378,993 in fines.
The Cowboys drew the most fines in the NFL, but we’re guessing the Commanders’ acts were a little more serious, resulting in the higher total.
The Indianapolis Colts were found to be the least-fined team in the NFL, earning $32,352 in fines across four fines.
