When see a ghost, is it your mind playing tricks on you, or did you really witness an apparition from beyond?
Being that it’s Texas, you might want to bet on the latter.
A new study from the search-data company Answer Socrates found that Texas leads the nation with 7,669 logged ghost sightings.
El Paso leads all municipalities with 197 reports of ghosts, followed by Austin with 115, Corpus Christi with 105, Laredo with 103, and Midland with 82.
Despite the strong ghost sighting score, according to CW33 Texas ranked as the seventh most haunted state in America, though the Lone Star State did rank fourth in UFO reports, second nationwide for reports involving the chupacabra, and fourth for the Goatman.
