The first weekend of the State Fair of Texas has come and gone, and with the usual mix of corn dogs and funnel cakes, this year also unfortunately features an unfortunate mistake.

As guests enter the fairgrounds, they are greeted with a welcome sign that contains a typo:  Instead of saying "We're Glad You're Here," the sign reads "We're Glad Your here."

Folks on Reddit had a field day with the sign, with one commentor pointing out, "When you are #38 in education."

If you haven't already been to the fair and seen the sign for yourself, we have some bad news: fair attendees say the sign was removed and corrected, evidently by none other than Big Tex himself!

The State Fair runs through Sunday October 22!
