All the growth Texas has experienced over the last couple of years doesn't look like it has any intention of slowing down.
Researchers with Click Storage have predicted that by 2021, California will lose its place as the most populous state in the nation with that distinction moving to Florida, and Texas!
Karl Graham, a demographic expert at Click Storage, in a statement to StudyFinds, "The data we have now shapes our infrastructure, healthcare, and housing policies for the future.
"By examining population trends, we can anticipate and plan for the changes expected to come."
According to this study, by 2021 Texas is expected to triple its population to 97,840,519 residents, which would nearly double that of California (53,376,507).
Graham says that Texas is set to become the undisputed population giant of the United States due to the state's "economic attractiveness, combined with its vast expanses of land and relatively lower cost of living, will continue to draw people in."
