Those that can’t stand waiting until December for Christmas often celebrate Christmas in July as well. However, this year DFW is getting an even earlier head start on Christmas. That’s because a ‘Charlie Brown Christmas’ exhibit is coming to Fort Worth this month, giving the metroplex a never before seen look at the 1965 animated film.

Starting this weekend, ‘Merry Christmas, Charlie Brown!’ will take over the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History as the traveling exhibit comes to Texas for the first time. The exhibit gives guests a behind the scenes look at the film with a video featuring Charles Schulz and others, 50 "Peanuts" daily and Sunday comic strips, more than 50 vintage "Peanuts"-themed seasonal novelties and a Santa letter writing station and photo opportunity for visitors.

“The latest traveling exhibition from the Charles M. Schulz Museum examines the making of the animated classic and celebrates the anticipation, joy, and pitfalls of the holiday season,” said a release. According to Dallas Culture Map, the exhibit will begin June 17 and run through August 20. For Charlie Brown fans, this is an exhibit they won’t want to miss.
