Parents will try just about anything to get the perfect photo of their child with Santa. However, it seems every time, the child bursts into tears ruining the opportunity. While many parents assume their child will love getting up close and personal with Santa, clearly they know something adults don’t. One child proved that recently, using sign language to say “help” during his photo with Santa.
Kerry Spencer taught all her children baby sign before they could speak, but she never expected to see it used during her son’s first experience meeting Santa. The mother brought her one-year-old son Samuel to the mall to meet Santa, and unsurprisingly it didn’t go as planned. As seen in the photos that recently went viral, the child is using baby sign language to say “help” as the photo was taken.
According to the New York Post, the photo was actually taken a few years ago, and sharing it has become a family tradition. Hopefully the child doesn’t get too embarrassed by this tradition when he gets older. It should help that he is now a viral star.
