Chip and Joanna Gaines are considered Texas royally by many in the Lone Star state, but now the Waco couple wants to give someone else a little taste of the royal life. The couple recently announced they will be auctioning off a castle they renovated. Cottonland Castle was renovated by Chip and Joanna for a ‘Fixer Upper’ special on Magnolia Network.

On July 3, bidding will begin on Chip and Joanna Gaines’ Cottonland Castle, a three-story, 6,700-square-foot residence that has four bedrooms, three-and-a-half bathrooms, seven fireplaces, and sits on 1.5 acres in Waco. According to Dallas Culture Map, the home was renovated by the couple back in 2019, and aired as a special on their magnolia Network last year. "This is a project that I was pursuing for 20 years. The reality is we need to sell it and we should sell it," said Chip Gaines.

The renovations to the home included the addition of a conservatory, library, butler's pantry, card room, and more. Now, the castle will be offered through Concierge Auctions, though a $100,000 bidder deposit is required. Thanks to this home, a new couple may soon be known considered royalty throughout Waco.
