When people think about the future, one of the things many picture is having the ability to travel using a jet pack. While many thought jet packs would be an everyday transportation method by now, the world isn’t quite there yet. However, one company did just become one step closer to making jet pack travel a reality. Gravity Industries recently announced they partnered with the Great North Air Ambulance Service to provide their new “iron man jet suits” for paramedics to begin using this summer.
Last year, Gravity Industries went viral after sharing a video of the “iron man jet suit” being used during military training. In that video, a pilot took off from one military ship, flying to another using the jet pack. Now, those same jet suits will be used by paramedics to deliver triage in the field in locations that are incredibly difficult to reach with conventional methods.

According to Bro Bible, the service will begin testing in England’s Lake District. One Great North Air Ambulance Service paramedic has already gone through extensive training for the jet suit. With this, the world is one step closer to the future.
