Families hoping to enjoy the fun of the Crayola Experience in Plano just might be a little too late.

Per the Dallas Morning News, a sign on the door states that Centennial, the development company that owns Willow Bend Mall, changed the locks on the site Feb. 7 due to "delinquent rent.”

The Crayola Experience's phone number is disconnected, and the website states the facility is temporarily closed.

The closure comes amid speculation that the Stars will be leaving the American Airlines Center for a new arena to be built on the Willow Bend Mall property.

Anchor stores Neiman Marcus and Dillards have already announced the closing of their stores at Willow Bend.
