Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott said it best in a tweet he sent out last week: "Probably gonna get a lot of $h!t for this."
It's for a good cause though, as Dak has teamed with actor Ryan Reynolds to encourage others to get screened for colon cancer.
In the video, Prescott encourages people who've received a home screening kit to put a sticker of "something you want to s--- on" at the bottom of the sample collection container. Dak proceeds to show stickers representing other NFL teams, including the Miami Dolphins, San Francisco 49ers, and the Philadelphia Eagles.
Per the Dallas Morning News, Dak teamed with Reynolds' Maximum Effort and the Colorectal Cancer Alliancefor "Lead From Behind."
Colon cancer awareness is an issue close to Dak's heart, as he lost his mother Peggy to colon cancer in 2013.
The Cowboys QB said in a press release, "Losing my mother to colon cancer was devastating, and no one should have to go through that," that's why I started the colon cancer screening and research pillar of my Faith Fight Finish Foundation.
"Partnering with the Colorectal Cancer Alliance and Lead From Behind is another way I can let people, especially Black Americans who are at greater risk, know that colon cancer is preventable and there are a variety of screening options."
