Be prepared to remove TGI Friday’s from your list of restaurants to spend a Friday night in.
The Dallas-based restaurant chain has announced the closure of 50 restaurants across the country amid reports that they soon will be filing for bankruptcy.
According to CBS News, these newly-closed restaurants join the 36 “underperforming” locations that were closed in January.
At the time, TGI Friday’s says these moves were part of their “ongoing growth strategy.”
As of Wednesday afternoon, the TGI Friday’s website shows the only open locations in North Texas are at DFW Airport.
