A new study from WalletHub ranked Dallas as the 4th best winter hotspot in the U.S. for 2025!
According to CultureMap Dallas, the largest 69 metros across the nation were analyzed with 37 different metrics across six key dimensions, including travel costs and hassles, local costs, attractions, weather, activities, and safety, to determine the best “warm weather,” and “cold weather” winter destinations.
Dallas was ranked as the 4th best winter hotspot destination, bested only by Las Vegas, San Diego, and Austin. Phoenix rounded out the top five.
The best “cold weather” winter destinations included Chicago, Atlanta, Washington D.C., St. Louis, and Cincinnati.
