Music fans are almost never happy when their favorite artist decides to make changes to a classic. Whether that’s changing a lyric, the style or even an entire song; fans usually want to hear the originals they fell in love with. Nirvana fans may be the next to be disappointed as Dave Grohl recently hinted at a new album cover for the 30th anniversary of Nirvana’s ‘Nevermind.’

Earlier this year a lawsuit was filed by Spencer Elden, who was the baby featured on Nirvana’s iconic ‘Nevermind’ cover art, seeking damages for the use of his image. Now, with the album’s 30th anniversary coming up; Dave Grohl has revealed new cover art may be on the way. “I have many ideas of how we should alter that cover but we’ll see what happens. We’ll let you know. I’m sure we’ll come up with something good,” said Grohl.

While many fans were disappointed, others were excited to see what changes will be made for the special 30th anniversary deluxe album. According to AV Club, that album is due out November 12. Hopefully the new cover art doesn’t lead to any lawsuits in the future.
