A man has been apprehended after police officers in DeSoto captured him attempting to break into multiple vehicles along the residential 800 block of Windy Meadow Drive early Sunday morning.
According to NBC DFW, police officers used a thermal surveillance drone to locate the man as he attempted to flee through someone's backyard.
According to the police, the man put up a struggle during his arrest and a large knife fell out of his jacket.
The suspect was taken into custody on outstanding warrants, resisting arrest or search, and an unspecified class-A misdemeanor.
