Cities all over Texas have seen an increase in population in recent years. While all major cities throughout the Lone Star state have become popular destinations for businesses, young professionals and families, suburban communities outside of these cities have been thriving as well. Now, five North Texas communities have been included on the list of the top selling US neighborhoods in 2023.
RCLCO Real Estate Consulting recently unveiled their mid-year list of the top selling neighborhoods in America. Overall, 22 different Texas neighborhoods made the list, with five coming from the North Texas area. According to Dallas Morning News, those communities include Silverado in Aubrey, Union Park in Little Elm, Pecan Square in Northlake, Harvest in Argyle and Lilyana in Celina.
The top Texas neighborhood on the list was Katy’s Sunterra near Houston at No. 3, with The Villages in Florida taking the top spot. While Silverado in Aubrey was the highest ranked North Texas community, it dropped from number six last year to number 19 this year. Based on this report, it appears the population in DFW will continue to grow.
