Rain on your wedding day is usually taken as a sign of good luck.  Rain on Valentine’s Day can just be a nuisance for any couples trying to celebrate (or a blessing for anyone who forget to arrange a night out with their partner).

This past Valentine’s Day on Saturday proved to be the wettest in DFW history, with a record rainfall of 1.30 inches, according to the Dallas Morning News.

Thousands of homes lost power in Dallas, Collin, Johnson and Tarrant counties on Saturday, and several accidents caused lane closures and delays across DFW.

Thankfully, we won’t have to worry about rain too much this week, and above average temperatures will persist through Thursday.
