The original Dick's Last Resort, located at 2211 Lamar St. in Dallas, has permanently closed after 40 years in business.
According to CultureMap Dallas, the restaurant's last day was November 30.
A representative from the chain explained, "Business at that location had been declining, and they were facing an increase in rent, so they made a decision to close."
Dick's Last Resort was founded in Dallas in 1985 and is currently headquartered in Nashville.
