Dunkin’ announces they will add avocado toast and grilled cheese to the menu

Over the last few years, avocado toast has become the go to item for brunch. Despite its simple ingredients, many restaurants charge sky high prices for the dish. However, brunch enthusiasts are now getting a break, as Dunkin’ announced recently they will be adding avocado toast to their menu nationwide for only $2.99.

Along with the trendy brunch item, Dunkin’ will also add a number of new items to the menu; including grilled cheese, and some new coffee options. However, most were intrigued by the new avocado toast, as many are hoping the quality is good enough to replace their expensive brunch habit. “Dunkin’s new Avocado Toast is the definition of quality delivered at the speed of Dunkin.’ With simple ingredients at an affordable price, Dunkin’s Avocado Toast is the latest feel good addition to our evolving menu,” said Jill Nelson, vice president of marketing and culinary.

According to Fox News, the Dunkin’ avocado toast is served on sourdough bread, and is topped with everything bagel seasoning. The chain will also serve the dish in a “special portable box" to help eaters on the go. With this new item, Sundays just got a lot easier.
