An American Airlines flight from Phoenix to Austin last week was delayed after the actions of one unruly passenger.
According to a post on Reddit, a man was heard grumbling under his breath before exclaiming, "You thought that was rude? Well how about this smell?"
And that's when the unruly passenger decided to start farting. And he wouldn't stop.
The disgruntled passenger was apparently upset at the smell of the snacks other passengers were eating around him. So, we're guessing he thought "fight fire with fire?"
According to FOX 7, as the plane was taxiing towards the runway, it immediately returned to the gate where flight attendants informed the man that he would have to leave the plane.
Evidently, the farting passenger said, "I don't understand" as he was being led off the plane but offered no other difficulties. Nor farts.
The plane was delayed about 15-30 minutes.
