Kaufman County officials were called to rescue a nanny who, during a driving lesson, accidently drove into water near Lake Ray Hubbard.
The nanny was driving the car with three children, aged 1, 2, and 4, along with their mother, when she accelerated instead of braking the vehicle.
The nanny was able to escape from her seat and assisted the mother in rescuing the three kids. First responders arrived within minutes to assist in the rescue. Thankfully, nobody was hurt during the incident.
Per WFAA, the Texas Department of Public Safety described it as “more of an incident rather than a crash,” noting that all occupants were unharmed and the vehicle was removed from the pond.
