Fort Worth named the 4th most dangerous city in the nation for pedestrians; Dallas ranked No. 8

Residents know that without a car, it's virtually impossible to get around the Metroplex.

Not only because everything is so far spread apart, but because DFW can be a very dangerous city for pedestrians.


A new study from personal injury lawyer Matthew E. Aulsbrook, otherwise known as "The Texas Law Dog," found that Fort Worth is the 4th most dangerous city in the nation for pedestrians!  Dallas didn't fare much better, coming in at No. 8.

According to Dallas Express, the report analyzed the top 10 most dangerous U.S. cities based on pedestrian fatality rates, walkability scores, and the percentage of dedicated parks and recreational areas in each city.

Elsewhere around Texas, San Antonio came in as the No. 7 most dangerous city for pedestrians.  Memphis ranked as the worst in the nation.
