A new report from WaterBoy.com set out to rank America’s 80 biggest cities from Most to Least sweaty.
No surprises here, Texas made a big appearance among the sweatiest.
Three Texas cities came in in the top 15, including Dallas at No. 14, San Antonio at No. 11, and Houston at No. 9.
The study used metrics like heat index, dew point, and humidity, along with hours of sun, "heat stress,” hydration demand, estimated fluid loss, and "overnight recovery capacity" to determine their rankings.
The ten sweatiest cities in America included:
1 – West Palm Beach, FL
2 – Miami, FL
3 – Fort Myers, FL
4 – Honolulu, HI
5 – Melbourne, FL
6 – Tampa, FL
7 – Orlando, FL
8 – New Orleans, LA
9 – Houston, TX
10 – Jacksonville, FL
And the least sweaty cities included:
1 – Colorado Springs, CO
2 – Denver, CO
3 – Spokane, WA
4 – Boise, ID
5 – Albuquerque, NM
6 – Salt Lake City, UT
7 – Seattle, WA
8 – Portland, OR
9 – Oxnard CA
10 – San Francisco, CA
