It’s a banner year for chef Tim Love and the Lonesome Dove Bistro in Fort Worth as they are celebrating their 25th year in business.
And to celebrate, the restaurant is offering a once-in-a-lifetime meal.
Love is serving guests 25 dishes to celebrate the restaurant’s 25th anniversary, featuring some Lonesome Dove favorites including their rabbit and rattlesnake sausage, a garlic-stuffed tenderloin, and on of their famous desserts the Tuaca cappuccino flan.
These are all in the 25-course meal which carries a price tag of $250. Makes sense for their 25th anniversary though, right?
Love told the Dallas Morning News the menu features “anything west of the Mississippi,” and if you’re worried about how you could possibly make it all the way through 25 courses without getting full, Love reassures that “It’s plenty of food but not overwhelming.”
The special tasting menu will be available May 2-6, at which time the restaurant will not be serving its regular menu. Reservations to dine will be required.
The Lonesome Dove is located at 2406 North Main St. in the Fort Worth Stockyards.
