Jordan Wilmore is a police cadet in Kameh, TX who towers over all his colleagues. Not just because of his personality or dedication to the force…it’s because he’s 7’3”.
Chief Raymond Garivey told KHOU 11, “In my 34 years, I've never seen someone as big as Jordan.”
A former basketball player, Wilmore always envisioned a career in law enforcement. Before signing up for the academy, he worked in security in Kemah, a city in Galveston Bay a little more than 30 miles southeast of Houston.
Wilmore will graduate from the academy in December. In the meantime, the Kemah PD says it's working to find him a custom ride, a custom uniform, and a special-ordered gun to fit his hands.
