Last month, the Fort Worth Zoo announced the birth of a new baby elephant. Now, the new addition to their elephant exhibit has made its first public appearance. The zoo recently posted a video of the elephant taking its first swim on social media, and shared its name for the first time as well.

One month after being born, the Fort Worth Zoo is officially ready to start showing off their new elephant. The 345 pound elephant recently made its first public appearance at the zoo, and even enjoyed a swim for the very first time. According to CW33, the elephant is named Travis.

As seen in the now viral clip, Travis is a natural in the water. He splashed around for quite some time, getting used to his new home. Guests can now get a glimpse of Travis in action next time they visit the Fort Worth Zoo.
