Back in 2018, the city of Frisco began planning for a new entertainment and restaurant complex located across the tollway from the Dallas Cowboys’ Star complex. However, four years later the site on the Dallas North Tollway north of Warren Parkway is still left with a ton of question marks. Luckily, some of those questions are finally starting to be answered as it was recently announced that work is scheduled to start on project before the end of the year.
The Frisco Music City project plans to bring plenty of entertainment to the constantly growing city of Frisco. According to Dallas Morning News, the project will include a more than 1,000-seat indoor theater, a 390-seat outdoor stage and restaurants. Music City will feature a 63,000-square-foot building with a “concert hall and its accessory rooms for loading, dressing and production, dining areas, wine tasting and bar areas with accessory kitchen with outdoor seating areas,” according to new details filed with the state.

Work is expected to begin later this year, and hopes are the venue will open by early 2024. The property is owned by the Frisco Economic Development Corp., and Dallas’ Hodges Architecture is handling the design. By 2024 DFW will have yet another entertainment complex to enjoy.
