Whether they went out for a meal with friends, ate at a new restaurant, tried some fine dining or even made the dish themselves, a good meal almost always means a good time. Now, there is a new report on the best dishes of 2022, and a restaurant in Frisco made the cut.
The New York Times recently unveiled their list of the most memorable dishes its reporters and editors ate in 2022. While many great restaurants were mentioned, only one in DFW made the list. According to Dallas Morning News, the Khichdi at Vrindavan in Frisco was a highlight for one of their reporters.
"Deeply perfumed with whole, warming spices, cozy with soft grains of rice and lentils and enriched with ghee, this tastes like the best home cooking," said Priya Krishna, who is a Dallas native. For anyone looking to get a taste before 2022 is over, Vrindavan is located at Preston Road and Sam Rayburn Tollway. It may just be the best dish you eat all year.
