For the second year in a row, the best pizza in Texas comes from right here in North Texas.
Lewisville’s Motor City Pizza took home the award again, as named by 5 Reasons to Visit, a guide similar to an online travel and booking site.
The article states, “Many consider Motor City Pizza the best in Texas for their innovative specialty pies like the Thanksgiving Pizza and The Dak,” and lauds them for their “consistent quality that earned them a No. 16 ranking on Yelp’s Top 100 Pizza Spots in the U.S., and the passion of owner Greg Tierney, a Michigan native who brings authentic Detroit flavors to the Lone Star State.”
Tierney told WFAA, “We are honored, ecstatic, and humbled to be recognized for this.
“Out of the thousands and thousands of pizza restaurants in Texas, to be named as the #1, is truly an honor.”
