In anticipation of the World Cup (it begins in less than two weeks!) the city of Frisco is seeking volunteers for their attempt at setting a Guinness World Record.
The city has announced their attempt to set the record for “world’s largest soccer ball number.” The event goes down Thursday, June 4 at the Warren Sports Complex, according to CW33.
The attempt is scheduled to begin around 9am, and an official Guinness World Record adjudicator will be on site to oversee the entire event and will verify the attempt’s success or failure after all the soccer balls have been positioned.
Frisco will serve as the official Team Base Camp for the Sweden Men’s National Team during the tournament.
