The members of Guns N Roses have faced their fair share of legal issues over the years, but now the tables have turned as the band recently filed a lawsuit against on online business in Texas. The band is suing an online store that is called “Texas Guns and Roses.” According to the lawsuit, GNR claims the store is tricking fans into believing they’re associated with the band.

Texas Guns and Roses is an online store operated by Jersey Village Florist that sells guns as well as roses. While the name fits perfectly for their business, sadly it was already taken by one of the biggest bands in the world. Now Guns N Roses has filed a lawsuit against the store seeking an unspecified amount of damages and for the store to change its name.

According to NME, the band sent the store a cease and desist letter in 2019, but they continued to use the name. The lawsuit claims the business “selected and adopted defendant’s marks for the purpose of confusing consumers into believing that it was connected or associated with, or licensed by, GNR.” Hopefully this doesn’t somehow backfire against the band, and they are the ones forced into a name change.
