H-E-B continues to expand across North Texas and have announced plans to open a second location in Fort Worth.

According to the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, construction will begin in the fast growing residential area of Walsh Ranch in west Fort Worth, at the corner of FM 3325 and I-20 Service Road, in October.

The first H-E-B in Funky Town, in Alliance, opened in 2024.

H-E-B’s managing director of public affairs Mabrie Jackson said in a statement, “H-E-B is excited to announce that construction will begin on our new Walsh Ranch location around the holiday season. We look forward to sharing more details at a groundbreaking event later this fall.”

Construction on the sore is expected to be complete in December 2026, though there is no prediction on when it will open for business.
