The World Cup is less than a month away, and millions of visitors will be descending upon North Texas for the matched and all the events surrounding the tournament.

If they’re looking for a place to stay, the city of Arlington is reviving an iconic motel that closed over 40 years ago.

The Caravan Motor Hotel first opened in 1961 but closed four decades ago when major highways came to Arlington in the ‘70s and ’80s.

The motel has gone through a transformation though, and will reopen this summer as the Caravan Court, a luxury boutique hotel with 143 rooms and three food & beverage entities, a martini bar, and a rooftop lounge.

Per CultureMap Dallas, the iconic “Caravan Motor Hotel” sign was preserved, to serve as a reminder of what the establishment, and the city, was like all those years ago.

The hotel is set to open on June 1. Reservations are available to be booked now.
