One of the most notorious embezzlement schemes from the state of Texas is getting the silver screen treatment.
From December 2003 to June 2013, Collin Street Bakery executive Sandy Jenkins and his wife Kay took nearly $17 million from the Corsicana institution to fund an extravagant lifestyle, using the money to fund trips on private jets, make large purchases at Neiman Marcus at NorthPark Center, and purchase 38 vehicles.
After the investigation, Sandy was sentenced to serve 120 months in federal prison in 2015 and Kay Jenkins was sentenced to five years' probation and 100 hours of community service.
Now, the scandal is being turned into a movie, with Emmy winner Paul Walter Hauser set to play Sandy and Jennifer Garner taking the role of Kay.
According to FOX 4, there is no timetable for the movie's release.
